Accessibility Statement

1. Our commitment

Cactus Containers wants anyone who needs a shipping container to be able to use this website — including people who browse with a screen reader, navigate by keyboard, use magnification, or have motion sensitivities.

We are working toward that. We are not claiming to have got there. This page sets out what we are aiming at, what we have done, what we know is still wrong, and how to reach a human if the site gets in your way.

2. The standard we work to

We are working toward the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1, Level AA. That is the standard most commonly used as the benchmark for websites.

Working toward a standard is not the same as meeting it. This site has not been through a formal accessibility audit, and we have not tested every page against every criterion. We would rather say that plainly than claim a level of conformance we have not verified.

3. What we have done so far

These are things that are true of the site as it stands, not aspirations:

• Pages use proper HTML structure — headings, landmarks, lists and navigation regions — so screen readers can move through them sensibly.
• Every page declares its language, so screen readers pronounce the content correctly.
• Every image on the site has alternative text.
• The mobile navigation menu can be opened and closed from the keyboard, keeps keyboard focus inside itself while open, and closes on the Escape key.
• The embedded quote form has a descriptive title, so it is announced meaningfully rather than as an unlabelled frame.
• The site honours the "reduce motion" setting in your operating system. If you have it switched on, the background videos do not play and the scroll and parallax animations are turned off.
• Body text, headings and the main call-to-action colours were chosen against the WCAG AA contrast thresholds rather than picked by eye.

4. Where we are with this

We are working toward WCAG 2.1 Level AA and we are not there on every page yet. Some parts of the site — the delivery price estimator, the container filters and the quote form — need JavaScript to work, and there is a phone number for every yard beside each of them so nobody is stuck.

We have checked the site with automated tools and by keyboard, but it has not been through a full screen reader review, and it has not been tested by people who use assistive technology every day. We are not going to describe that as anything other than what it is.

If any part of this site is difficult to use, tell us and we will sort it out for you directly — over the phone if that is easier. We would rather help you today than wait for a fix to ship.

5. Content provided by other companies

The quote request form on this site is built and hosted by GoHighLevel and displayed inside our pages. Its accessibility is largely determined by GoHighLevel rather than by us, and we cannot fix problems inside it directly.

If the quote form is difficult or impossible for you to use, please call or email us instead — we will take the details over the phone and price the job exactly the same way. We would also like to hear about it, so we can raise it with GoHighLevel or find another way of collecting enquiries.

6. Tell us about an accessibility problem

If any part of this site is difficult to use, we want to know. You do not need to know the technical terminology — describing what you were trying to do and what happened is plenty.

It helps if you can tell us:

• the page you were on, or roughly what you were trying to do;
• what went wrong;
• the browser, device or assistive technology you were using, if you know it.

We have not set a published response time. We would rather answer properly than promise a number we might miss — but if you do not hear back, please call any yard and say it is about accessibility.

7. If the site is in your way

You never have to use this website to do business with us. Everything the site does — pricing a container, checking delivery to your ZIP code, asking about rent-to-own, requesting a quote — a person at the yard can do with you over the phone. Call any of the three numbers above and we will sort it out that way.

8. How this site is assessed

The statements on this page are based on a review of the site's own code and behaviour. They are not based on a formal audit by an accessibility specialist, and no third party has certified this site.

This statement was last reviewed on 30 July 2026. We will review it whenever the site changes materially, and at least once a year.
